Graveside services for Adele Pearl Nelson, 100, of Brownfield will be held at 2pm at Throckmorton Cemetery on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 with Jerry Payne officiating.

A visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Monday, February 2, 2015 at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Adele was born on August 30, 1914 to Willie and Dove Mounce in Eastland County. She was a loving homemaker for her family. She loved gardening, flowers and nature. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Adele is also preceded in death by her husbands, Coy Nelson and James Partney; 4 sisters, Lucille Graham, Merlene Harrington, Addie Faye Collins and Zelda Mae Morrison and a brother, Aubrey Mounce.

Adele is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline Willingham of Brownfield; 2 granddaughters, De’Andra Kirk and Vonda Cox; 5 great grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren and 2 great-great-great grandchildren.
