Alicia “Kina” Davila
The family of Alicia (Kina) Davila, a much loved and devoted wife, mother, and aunt will celebrate her life of 58 years at 2:00pm on Monday, February 7, 2022, at Brownfield Funeral home with Ruben Cruz officiating. Burial committal will follow at Meadow Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00pm on Sunday, February 6, 2022, at Brownfield Funeral Home.
Kina was born on February 25, 1963, to Eulogio Sr. and Trinidad Flores in Meadow, Texas. She attended Meadow High School. She married her husband, Abelardo Davila Jr. “JD” on July 27, 1996, and they built their life together in Meadow, TX.
Kina will be most remembered as a hard-working woman, who loved her family and always did what she could for them. She was always happiest when she was spending time with her family, or finding new ways to paint or redecorate the house.
She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Abelardo Jr. who will miss her greatly. Kina is also survived by her sons, Julian (Lindsey) Flores of Taylor, Mason of Meadow, Lalo (Monica) Davila of Ponder, Mike (Angie) Davila of Port Arthur, daughters, Katlen Davila (Nathan) of Lubbock, Sara (Isaac) Martinez of Lubbock. 7 grandchildren, Elias, Brian, Analise, Ayden, Zayden, and Baby Amador (due in March). Brothers, Raul (Abby) Flores of Levelland, Ben (Delia) Flores of Brownfield, Albert (Maria) Flores of New Home and sisters, Yolanda (Raul) Sanchez of Meadow, and Gloria Flores of Meadow. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws that will forever hold her close to their heart.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Eulogio Sr. and Trinidad, her brother Eulogio “Nune” Jr., and mother-in-law Sirilda Davila.
Honoring Kina as her pallbearers are Lalo Davila, Mike Davila, Tony Flores, Eric Sanchez, Adrian Soto, and JD Ticer.
