Services for Anita Morin, 79, of Brownfield will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Father Gerald Leatham officiating. Burial will be in Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Anita passed away Saturday, August 9, 2008 in Brownfield. Anita was born on February 20, 1929 to Jacinto and Francisca Garcia in Helena, Texas. She married Felix Morin, December 5, 1947 in Karnes City, Texas. He preceded her in death in 1986. Anita was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
Anita is survived by 2 daughters, Dora Perez of Kansas and Sylvia Serbantez of Brownfield; 3 sons, Lucas Morin of Lubbock, Gilbert Morin of Lubbock and Richard Morin of Brownfield; a sister, Lucia Martinez of Brownfield; 3 brothers, Jesus Garcia of Lamesa, Martin Garcia of Plains and Greg Garcia of Kansas; 19 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
