Services for Ann Dugger, 89, of Seminole will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at Brownfield First Christian Church with Rev. Mike Click officiating and Rev. Ken Reeder assisting. Internment will follow in the Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Ann passed away on September 12, 2008 in Seminole. She was born on August 15, 1919 in Sydney, Texas to Walter and Sarah Elizabeth Trice. She graduated from Old Glory High School. She married Bill Dugger on January 19, 1941 in Rochester, Texas. They moved to Brownfield in 1946. He preceded her in death in 2000. Ann worked for General Telephone Company in Brownfield as a Communications Consultant retiring in 1975. She was a member of the Business and Professional Women's Club (BPW), the Pioneer Association, and Brownfield First Christian Church. She is also preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, and a daughter; Kara Janelle Dugger in 1945.
Ann is survived by her son, Gary Dugger and his wife Carman of Seminole; 4 grandchildren, Michael Chad Dugger and his wife Adonica of Shallowater, Blake Dugger of Winter Park, CO, Morgan Dugger of Seminole, and Kevin Fenner and his wife Deandra of Abilene; 3 great grandchildren, Ann Elizabeth Dugger, Ryan Dugger, and Christien Fenner and her sister, Alene Schmidt and her husband Milton of Austin.
Ann will be in state on Monday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
