Audie Fern Lasiter

Funeral services for Audie Fern Lasiter will be held 2pm Friday, December 23, 2016 with Bob Reynolds officiating and Bo Shero assisting. Burial will follow in the Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Audie passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016 in Brownfield. She was born November 4, 1931 in Lubbock to Ollie Walter McCaughan and Lillie Marie Sansing McCaughan. Audie attended Wolfforth and then Brownfield Schools. She married J.W. “Bud” Lasiter on January 30, 1948 in Brownfield. Audie was a member of the Brownfield Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bud Lasiter, parents, O.W. and Marie McCaughan, and two sisters, Merle Ray and Betty Nieman.

Audie is survived by two sons, Billy Lasiter of Brownfield, Johnny Lasiter and wife, Sandra, of Odessa; daughter, Susan Pickett and husband, Raymond, of Brownfield; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and sister Ida Yowell of Brownfield.
