Barbara Garrett

Funeral services for Barbara Jo Garrett, 59, of Lubbock will be held at 2pm Friday, October 14, 2016 at the Brownfield First Christian Church with Rev. Chris Seaton officiating.

Barbara passed away October 9, 2016 in Lubbock. She was born July 5, 1957 in Ft. Worth to Jack and Robbie Garrett, who then moved to Brownfield in 1961. Barbara graduated from Brownfield High School and attended South Plains College, then she worked for a time as a Home Health Provider. She was a member of First Christian Church in Brownfield. A constant passion throughout her life was her love of cats. Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Rev. Jack Garrett.

Barbara is survived by her son, Evan Kirk of Lubbock; mother, Robbie Garrett of Brownfield; sisters, Anne Miller of San Antonio, Pam Bailey of San Antonio, Jean Seekamp and husband of Corpus Christi; 4 nieces and husbands; and 8 great nieces and nephews. She will be missed by family and friends.
