Funeral Service for Bentley Kaid Gomez, 11, will be held at First Baptist Church in Brownfield at 10 am Thursday, February 8, 2024, with Brad Reimers officiating.
Viewing will be held from 10 am to 8 pm on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at Brownfield Funeral Home.
Bentley's vibrant personality radiated happiness wherever he went, and he never met a stranger. Bentley's loved ones will forever cherish the precious moments they shared with him as he brightened their lives with his infectious laughter and humor. His quick wit and love of jokes were unmatched, bringing immeasurable joy to everyone around him.
Bentley played football, basketball, and baseball. It was a sight to behold watching him gracefully maneuver across fields and courts with his passion for these games. In addition to sports, he had a profound love for collecting Pokémon cards. Bentley loved video games and music, and he could remember any song immediately.
Food held a special place in Bentley's heart, and his appetite knew no bounds. Through shared meals with loved ones, he exemplified the importance of gathering together and cherishing one another's company. Above all else, Bentley cherished his sisters dearly. His unconditional love for them knew no limits, and he was their biggest supporter and friend. In their laughter and shared adventures, Bentley found immense happiness. The bond they shared will forever hold a cherished place in their hearts.
Although Bentley's time with us may have been far too short, his impact transcends the brevity of his life. He leaves behind a legacy of joy and kindness that will be forever etched in our memories. As we bid farewell to this remarkable soul, let us celebrate the incredible gifts he shared with us during his time on Earth.
Bentley is survived by his Dad and Mamabean, Chago and Taylor Gomez; sisters, Praislee, Parker, Paetyn Gomez; grandparents, Jesse and Carmen Escoto, Santiago Gomez Jr., Daniele and Seth Hollowell; great-grandparents, Russell and Vicki Bogle, Cliff and Peggy Payne, Maria Rios, Lupe Alaniz, Lupe Escoto, Rafaela Ortiz, Santiago Gomez Sr.; aunts and uncles, Jacee Escoto, Chloe and Madi Hollowell, Tristan and Mallory Payne, Shalyn Payne, Wade and Amy Dittrich, Rhonda and Bill Bargman,Cody and Alyson Payne, along with the other members of the Gomez, Escoto and Rios Family.
