Betty Jean Adkisson, 77, of Brownfield died on Saturday, May 31, 2008 in Lubbock. Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at the Terry County Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Chris Seaton officiating.
Betty was born on July 30, 1930 in Littlefield to Jack and Willie Boone. She moved to Brownfield as a child where she attended schools. She married Jerald Adkisson on December 10, 1971 in Phoenix, AZ. She is survived by her husband; 2 daughters, Terry Ligon and her husband Jerry of Eliasville, TX and Beverly Jones of Graham, TX; 2 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and her sister, Ella Wallace of Apple Valley, CA.
