Services for Edward J. "Bill" Jowers, 75, of Brownfield will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Carter officiating. Burial will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Bill passed away Sat., Oct. 6, 2007 in Brownfield. He was born November 2, 1931 in Portales, NM. He married Frances Oliphant, May 25, 1950 in Haskell, TX. She preceded him in death on March 26, 2000. Bill owned and operated Triple J Grocery in Brownfield for close to 50 years. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
He is survived by a son, Jasper Jowers and his wife Latrica of Brownfield; three grandchildren, Joshua Jowers and his wife Amber, Johnathon Jowers and his fiance' Blythe Carter and Jarisa Jowers; two great grandchildren, Bryson and Braydon Jowers; a brother Bob Jowers of Brownfield.
