Billye Louise McCallister

Billye Louise McCallister, 80, of Brownfield passed away Friday, October 19, 2007 in Lubbock. Services will be at 11:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at Meadow First Baptist Church with Rev. Ken McClung officiating. Billye was born on July 11, 1927 in Whiteright, Texas to Horace and Ethel Belew. She moved with her family to Meadow in third grade. She graduated form Meadow High School. She married Billy McCallister on April 8, 1944 in Tahoka. They moved to Brownfield in the 1980's. She was a member of the Meadow First Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband Billy McCallister; her daughter, Vicki Finley and husband Gene; her son, Gary McCallister and wife Debra; 5 grandchildren, Trace Finley and wife Janet, Brice Finley, Brant Finley, Stephanie McCallister, Jeff McCallister and wife Amy; 2 great grandchildren, Ross Finley and Will Finley; her brother, Guy Belew and wife Sue; 2 sisters, Glenda Morris and husband Curt and Alma Jean Reynolds.
