Bitsy Martin

Services for Edrie Elouise "Bitsy" Martin, 88, of Brownfield will be 2 pm Monday, August 6, 2007 at Brownfield Church of Christ with Bob Reynolds and John Snider officiating. Interment will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Bitsy passed away Saturday, August 4, 2007 in Brownfield. She was born April 20, 1919 in Knox County, TX. to Henry L. and Clemmie Serena Lee. She graduated from Tokio High School. Bitsy married Reg Martin, January 7, 1941 in Brownfield. He preceded her in death Aug. 2, 1994. She and her husband farmed for many years. She was a member of the Brownfield Quilting Club and theTerry Co. and Yoakum Co. Home Demonstration Club. Bitsy was a member of Brownfield Church of Christ. She is also preceded in death by a grandson, Jody Lee Hart in 1996; five sisters and six brothers.

Bitsy is survived by her sons, Reggie Martin and Lee Martin of Brownfield; two daughters, Ethel Hart of Aspermont and Ann Heathcoat of Brownfield; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
