Bobby Gerald Hedrick, 86, of Brownfield, passed away surrounded by family on February 1, 2025. Bobby was born in Blossom, TX to Flem D. and Alene Fay (Adams) Hedrick. The family moved to Lubbock when he was around seven years of age.

Bobby was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Bobbiette, with whom he shared 35 wonderful years of marriage, beginning their journey together on September 30, 1989, in Brownfield. Their partnership was a testament to love and companionship, filled with laughter, support, and countless treasured memories.

A veteran of the United States Navy, Bobby held his time in military service dear to his heart, often regaling friends and family with stories from his four years stationed in Japan. After serving his country, Bobby dedicated 22 years of his professional life to Lubbock Building Products, from which he retired in 2003. 

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Bobby was known for his eclectic collection of over 100 miniature ceramic boots, a passion that brought him joy and connected him with friends who delighted in gifting him these unique treasures.

Bobby was preceded in death by 4 sons, twins who died at birth - Harold and Gerald Hedrick, Scotty Mac Hedrick, and Donald Wayne Hedrick; sister, Jean Michelle Lancaster; and brother, Steven Darrell Hedrick. He is survived by his wife, Bobbiette Hedrick; daughter, Suzanne Hedrick; son, Steven Thomas Hedrick; stepson, Danny Paul Gibbs; sister, Donna Klein; and 3 grandchildren.

Cremation services are under the care of Brownfield Funeral Home.
