Services for Centeny May Lester will be held at 1pm Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Plains First United Methodist Church with Rev. Linda Gillespie officiating.

Centeny May Lester passed away January 19, 2017 in Brownfield. She was born May 1, 1936 to John Grady and Tina Rogers in Lynn County. Centeny graduated from Dawson High School. She married Bobby Frank Lester on December 21, 1952 in Lynn County. She was a member of the Unity Church of Austin and she was an Eastern Star. Centeny was a strong, independent, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother that welcomed everyone into her home. She is preceded in death by her husband Bob Lester.

Centeny is survived by her son Bruce Lester and wife Jan of Plains; daughter, Cyndy Koncaba of Brownfield; eight grandchildren, Brandy Gayle of Wolfforth, Jacob Lester of Georgetown, Bronson Lester of Ft. Worth, Amanda Lowery of Brownfield, Nancy Mendoza of Brownfield, Daniel Lee of San Antonio, Jessica Knight of Brownfield Jason Lee of Dallas; nine great grandchildren; and brother, Shawn Grady Rogers.
