Christopher Crawford

Christopher Crawford, 50 years old, made his transition late on Monday evening peacefully in his home surrounded by the ones he loved the most.

Chris was born on October 15, 1963 in Brownfield, TX to Joseph Crawford and the late Karen Jones. He was a jeep enthusiast, amateur photographer, outdoorsman, and dog lover. He received his Baccalaureate in Business Administration from Tarleton State University and pursued a Master’s in Divinity at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth.

He married the love of his life, Leslie Crawford in 1987, and they raised three beautiful children together, Matthew, Chase, and Heather. Chris was a loving man cherished for his warmth and joy. His life is most remembered by his devotion to the Lord, commitment to his family, and strong work ethic. He has uplifted and inspired many to live life more purposefully; Chris fought valiantly against a rare aggressive form of cancer and has shown us how to stay positive in the most difficult of circumstances. God says if we faint in the day of adversity our faith is small, and without faith it is impossible to please Him; while Chris will be missed greatly, we know he is present with the Lord Almighty who says “well done my good and faithful servant, enter into my rest”. In this we celebrate.
