Cody Lynn Cook

Graveside Service for Cody Lynn Cook will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, May 10, 2024, at Terrace Cemetery in Post, Texas, under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home, with E.C. Harlan officiating.

Cody graduated from Fort Stockton High School and pursued a career as a dedicated truck driver. Outside of his profession, Cody found joy in music, often strumming his guitar and expressing his creativity through songs. He had a deep love for animals, a compassionate heart toward others, and a great sense of humor.

He was known for his kindness and warmth, always sharing his love with those around him. A man of unwavering faith, Cody always found comfort in the words, "Jesus takes care of me," a sentiment that guided him through life's ups and downs. His commitment to his family was evident in his love for his nieces and nephews, who adored their "Uncle Cody" and cherished the memorable moments spent together at the lake.

Cody is preceded in death by his dad, Richard Cook; his mother, Elaine Cook; and his brother, David Cook. He is survived by his sister, Missy Davis of Carlsbad; his brother, Johnny Mac Brown, and wife, Jeanne of Brownfield; several nieces and nephews; and his two dogs.
