Cynthia "Cindy" Leann Day

Graveside Service for Cynthia (Cindy) Leann Day will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Terry County Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Chris Seaton officiating. Viewing will be held from 12:00 pm to 1:45 pm, prior to the service, at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Cindy was born to Hoyt Edward Day and Jerry Dean Clare Day on May 11, 1971, in Lubbock, Texas. She went home to be with Jesus on April 21, 2025, in Lubbock, Texas. She was a member of Church on the Rock in Lubbock.

Cindy grew up in her hometown of Brownfield, Texas, and graduated from Brownfield High School in 1989. She attended SAGU and later graduated from Wayland Baptist University in 2016 with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

Cindy worked at MetroNet/Vexus Fiber (formerly NTS Communications) for almost 26 years as a Program Manager.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Hoyt Edward Day, and is survived by her mother Jerry Dean Clare Day, daughter Vanessa Dawn Day, son John Paul Day and her brothers, Hoyt Fayne Day, and James Edward Day, all of Lubbock, Texas. She also has numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
