Dee Kanady

Delmer Doice Kanady, 90, of Brownfield passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2012 in Brownfield. He was born November 10, 1921 in Woodson, Texas to W.R. and Myrtle (Blair) Kanady. He married Ann Ronsick on August 15, 1959 in Hobbs, New Mexico. He was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran receiving the Purple Heart. He was a Truck Driver for Truss Joist Transportation for many years. He is preceded in death by a son, Jim Atzbach and a daughter, Pat Reynolds.

Memorial services for Dee will be 3pm Saturday, October 27 at the Church Of God Of Prophecy located at 902 old Lamesa Road.

Dee is survived by his wife Ann of Brownfield; 4 daughters, Sue Gallob and her husband Martin of Lake Arthur, NM, Linda Zinger and her husband Bill of Santa Fe, NM, Wanda Kohn of Phoenix, AZ and Cindy Noller and husband Brian of Phoenix, AZ; 3 sons, Raymond Atzbach and wife Nila of Phoenix, AZ, Herbert Atzbach and wife Linda of Brownfield and Richard Atzbach and wife Connie of Stratford, OK; 20 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
