Dorothy Elizabeth Wilkins, 78, of Brownfield passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2010. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 7, 2010 at Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Don McWhorter officiating. Interment will follow at Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Dorothy was born on November 8, 1931 in Kerr County, Texas to Pereminter and Zoye Truitt. She married Carlos Wilkins on December 21, 1947 in Brownfield. Dorothy worked for Plains State Bank in Plains, retiring after 20 years of employment. She was a member of Brownfield Church of Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers, Norman and Seth Truitt.
Dorothy is survived by 3 sons, Troy Wilkins and wife Judy of Midland, Carlton Wilkins and wife Carol of Tokio and Mike Wilkins and wife Wanda of Granbury; 10 grandchildren; 14 grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
