Doug Howard

Joseph Douglas "Doug" Howard passed from this life to be with his Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST on November 20, 2013. Doug was born in Mena, Arkansas on March 26, 1951 to his parents Dub and Bea Howard. He moved to Brownfield in 1953 where he spent most of his life. He married Tammy Bishop on September 22, 1979. They have 4 boys.

Doug will have a graveside service after his cremation and be buried at Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home. The service has been scheduled for 2pm, November 30, 2013.

Doug attended schools in Brownfield and graduated high school in San Diego, CA. He was a Master Electrician in Brownfield until he retired in 2004. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Hazel Campbell.

Doug is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Tammy of Brownfield; his sons, Danny Max, Donavan Scott, Dennis Joe, and Dustin and his wife Jaclyn of Amarillo; 14 grandkids and 3 great grandkids; 3 brothers, James and Elaine Howard of Tyler, David and Annette Howard of Glendale, AZ and Jerry and Judy Howard of Brownfield; 4 sisters, Jackie Woods of Slaton, Jewell Little of Albuquerque, NM, Anita and Roy Tillerson of Boswell, OK, Janice Howard of Austin and Debarah and Michael Barnett of Weatherford; 2 sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law; his in-laws, Henry and Dorothy Bishop; many nieces and nephews.
