Services for Thomas Earl Graves, 77, of Brownfield will be at 10:30 am, Friday, July 25, 2008 at Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Chris Seaton officiating. Burial will be in Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Earl passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2008 in Brownfield. He was born April 5, 1931 in Turkey, Texas to William Rufus and Birdie Graves. He married Janice Mae Rankin, Feb. 16, 1953 in Lovington, NM. They moved to Brownfield in 1961. Earl farmed and retired in 2002. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Rose Mary "Cookie" Waitman, a brother and two sisters.
Earl is survived by his wife Janice of Brownfield; two daughters, Linda Monfore of Brownfield and Pamela Jean Lieb of Weatherford; two sons, Dennis Earl Graves of Brownfield and James Ray Graves of Abilene; 9 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; a sister, Birdie Holcombe of Brownfield.
Earl will be in state at the Funeral Home from 9am-8pm on Thursday.
