Elias Rodriguez Garcia

Services for Elias Rodriguez Garcia will be held 1pm Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Primera Iglesia Bautista with Daniel Bernal officiating. Burial will follow in Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held from 6pm to 7pm at Primera Iglesia Bautista on Wednesday, June 29, 2016.

Elias was called home Sunday, June 26, 2016 in Lubbock. He was born on April 21, 1961 in Brownfield to Eli and Luisa Garcia. He graduated from Brownfield High School and then went on to become a certified welder. He was a member of Primera Iglesia Bautista. Elias married Sandra Salas on June 7, 1980 in Brownfield. He loved his family and found joy in his grandchildren. A stranger was a friend he had not met yet, never forgot a face and people immediately saw the good in him. He is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Alexanna Rose Garcia.

Elias is survived by his wife, Sandra Garcia, of Lubbock; four children, E.J. Garcia and wife, Diana, of Brownfield, Aarron Garcia of San Angelo, Kaleb Garcia of Lubbock, Victoria Garcia of Lubbock; daughter in love, Anita Garcia of Lubbock; six grandchildren, Carrina, Gabriella, Jack, Luke, Aaron, Aryana Garcia; parents Eli and Luisa Garcia of Brownfield; three siblings, Roselinda Trevino of Waxahachie, Rick Garcia of Plainview, Andrea Cook of Grand Prairie; and many more loving extended family.
