Eula Mae Sherrod

Services for Eula Mae Sherrod, age 90, of Brownfield will be at 2pm, Monday, January 27, 2014 at Brownfield First Baptist Chapel with Rev. Randy Land officiating. Burial will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

There will be a family visitation at the Funeral Home on Sunday, January 26th from 4-6pm.

Eula Mae passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2014 in Brownfield. She was born on November 5, 1923 in Munday, Texas to Elmer and Lola (Johnson) McCain. She graduated from High School in Lubbock. Eula Mae married Harest H. Sherrod on June 8, 1946 in Lubbock. He preceded her in death in 1982. She was a Pink Lady at Brownfield Regional Hospital. She helped at Brownfield Food Bank. She was a member at Brownfield First Baptist Church and ran their Clothes Closet. She is also preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers and 1 sister.

She is survived by 2 sons, Dan Sherrod of Brownfield and David Sherrod and his wife Linda of Lubbock; a daughter, Karen Noreen Sherrod of Corpus Christi; 2 grandchildren, LaRhonda Bailey and husband Steve of Broadview, NM and Dr. Ronny Wright and wife Anne Margaret of Boone, NC; 9 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter; a sister, Sue Wilson of Austin; a brother, Beauford McCain of Lubbock.
