Evangelina Cruz

Services for Evangelina Cruz, 75, of Brownfield will be at 10:00 am, Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church with Steve Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Family visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm,Friday, April 30, 2021 Saturday, May 1, 2021 Sunday, May 2, 2021 at Brownfield Funeral Home and Monday, May 3, 2021 at Calvary Baptist Church.

Evangelina passed away on April 28, 2021 in Lubbock. She was born on December 23, 1945 in Post to Esequiel and Magdalena Sepeda. Evangelina married Adolfo Cruz on January 21, 1963 in Brownfield. She was the best mom and momo and was always there for all her children no matter what they needed. Evangelina loved everyone and loved big. She was a faithful servant to God and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Evangelina is preceded in death by her husband, Adolfo Cruz; parents, Esequiel and Magdalena Sepeda; grandsons, Aaron Flores, Marcelino Perez III, Marcus Martinez, and Joey Cruz; sister, Hortencia Alvarado.

Evangelina is survived by daughters, Virginia Warren, Susie Martinez, Becky Cruz and spouse Ernesto Elizardo, Patricia Cruz, Angelina Cruz, Annette Cruz, Rachel Cruz, Barbara Cruz and spouse Steve Lerma, Evangelina Cruz, and Cristina Cruz; 25 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren, 3 great great-grandchildren, 4 brothers, and 4 sisters.
