Gerald Duane Caswell

Services for Gerald Duane Caswell, 56, of Brownfield will be at 2 pm Thur., April 26, 2007 at Brownfied First Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Land officiating. Gerald passed away Tues., April 24, 2007 at his home in Brownfield. He was born Sept. 14, 1950 in Lubbock. He graduated from Meadow High School. He attended and graduated from Colorado State University with a BS in Agricultural Economics in 1973. He married Tere Brungardt, Dec. 8, 1972 in Denver Colorado. Gerald was a member of numerous Civic and Ag Boards; Past Pres. of Brownfield School Board, Plains Cotton Growers and Brownfield Coop Station. He had farmed and ranched in Terry and Yoakum Counties his whole life. He was a member and Deacon at Brownfield First Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Tere; a son, Eric and his wife Kathryn of Brownfield; 3 daughters, Amanda Haire and her husband Gregg of Lubbock, Kylie Morin and her husband Jerome of Brownfield and Alyson Caswell of Lubbock; 3 sisters, Roni Taylor and her husband Steve of Meadow, Shirla Bayer and her husband Alan of Meadow and Laura Mackey and her husband Philip of Brownfield; 7 grandchildren, Chase, Kelsey, Natalie, Alec, Ryland, Boston and Lexi; his parents, Olane & LaDoyce Caswell of Brownfield.
