Gloria Lopez, 61, passed away at home in Brownfield, Texas, on November 8, 2024. She was born to Conrado and Alicia (Flores) Lopez on May 23, 1963, in Mathis, Texas. Gloria also lived in Dimmitt and worked for the Dimmitt Independent School District.
Gloria was a vibrant and joyful soul who always had a smile on her face and usually had a cup of coffee in her hand. She loved watching Novelas and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed going for walks and playing Bingo lottery tickets.
A hard worker who diligently cared for her home, Gloria enjoyed cleaning, working in the yard, and doing things that kept her active. She had such a generous spirit that she would give you the shirt off her back if needed. Her family and friends will forever remember her kind heart and selfless nature.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Conrado and Alicia Lopez of Dimmit; a sister, Juanita Garza of Hebbronville; and two brothers, Jesus Lopez of Clovis, NM, and Emeterio Lopez of Lubbock.
Left to cherish her memory are her son, Ray Lopez; a sister, Maggie Castleberry; and five brothers, Conrado Jr, Santos, Valentine, Antonio, and Roberto Lopez.
The family will be celebrating Gloria's life privately and laying her remains to rest with her parents in Lubbock. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
