Graveside service for Grace Hughes will be held at 1 pm Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at Terry County Memorial Cemetery with Chaplain Al Wise officiating.
There will be a family visitation from 6 pm to 8 pm on Monday, February 3, 2020, at Brownfield Funeral Home.
Grace Lanore Hughes passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2020. She was born on May 1, 1924, in Truscott to Marion and Georgia Tarpley. She graduated from Brownfield High School. Grace married Milton H. Hughes Jr. on July 21, 1947, in Brownfield.
Grace is preceded in death by husband, Milton H Hughes Jr., parents, Georgia and Marion Tarpley, six siblings, Chad Tarpley, Elsie Impson, Loretta Bailey, G.W. Tarpley, Ruth Ramseur, and Larry Tarpley.
Grace is survived by daughter, Tami Hill; two granddaughters, Kacy Hill and Katie Hill; three great-granddaughters, Paige Raney, Matilyn Thomas, and Nora Caldwell; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
