Guadalupe O Casarez

Funeral Services for Guadalupe Casarez, 87, of Brownfield will be held at 10 am on Saturday, December 19, 2020, at Immanuel Baptist Church with Bruce Cargile officiating.

Guadalupe was born on September 11, 1933, in Karnes City to Florentino and Matilde Ochoa. She passed away on December 16, 2020, in Brownfield. Guadalupe married Jesus Casarez on August 4, 1956, in Brownfield. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Guadalupe is preceded in death by her husband Jesus Casarez; infant son, David Casarez; son, Joe Casarez, parents, Florentino and Matilde Ochoa; 2 brothers, Manuel Ochoa and Ramon Ochoa and a sister, Mary Sandoval.


Guadalupe is survived by her sons, Jesse and wife Teresa Casarez, and David and wife Crystal Casarez; daughters, Mary and husband Rene Curiel, Irma and husband Marty Quintanilla, and Lupe and husband Mario Perez; 21 grandchildren; host of great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Robert Ochoa and Chris Ochoa and 2 sisters, Patsy Cruz and Tina Perez.
