Memorial services for Helga Inge Harris, 66, of Brownfield will be held at 2pm Thursday, February 5, 2015 in the Brownfield Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Eric Martinez officiating.
There will be a family visitation in the Brownfield Funeral Home from 1pm until service time on Thursday, February 5, 2015.
Helga was born on December 18, 1948 to Robert Aaron Harris and Inge Lydia Mueller in Schwabisch Hall, Germany. She graduated from Ayer High School in Ayer, Massachusetts. Helga owned and operated The Grapevine Café in Brownfield. She loved to cook and feed people. She was involved in the Relay for Life and participated in the run for several years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Inge Harris.
Helga is survived by her son, Aaron Christopher Moore and his wife, Ana, of Brownfield; brother, Ray Harris and his wife Tammy, of Dallas; and sister, Donna Harris of Dallas.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Cancer Center at UMC and Hospice of Lubbock for their care.
