Services for H.W. Shelton, 75, of Brownfield will be at 10am, Friday, May 31, 2013 at Brownfield Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Comer officiating. Burial will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
The family will receive visitors on Thursday at the funeral home from 6-8pm.
H.W. passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at his home in Brownfield. He was born to Herbert and Willie Marie (Kline) Shelton April 13, 1938 in Coleman. H.W. attended Brownfield Schools. He married Alta Yvonne Hartman November 15, 1958 in Brownfield. H.W. farmed most of his life and worked for Terry County for several years.
H.W. is survived by his wife, Yvonne of Brownfield; a daughter, Karla Rolen Clark and husband, Chick, of Brownfield; a son Kent Shelton and wife, Jeanie, of Amherst; 4 grandchildren, Amber Rolen of Brownfield, April Lerma and husband, Michael, of Brownfield, Jeana Owens and husband, Lance, of San Angelo, Bonnie Holder and husband, Greg, of San Angelo; 7 great-grandchildren, Jonathon, Christian, Andrew, Devin, Sydnee Davis, Katie Thomas, and Karlee Seals.
