Born in Karnes City, TX on June 2, 1961, to Bruno and Anita (Dominguez) Gonzales; Irma grew up in Plains, TX. She spent most of her life spreading love and kindness to those she met. Irma was known for making others' lives better; she was kind, caring and a Mom to everyone. Her smile was infectious, and her ability to make others laugh was what drew them to her. One could not help but be attracted to her positive spirit.
Irma grew up in Plains and was known for her strong work ethic and dedication to everything she did. She was a USPS Postal Worker for eighteen years and she poured her life into loving her family and community. She had a strong personality and an independent spirit and she leaves behind beautiful memories that will forever remain engraved in our hearts.
She loved watching Mash, Golden Girls and Everybody Loves Raymond, but spending time with her grandkids was her favorite hobby. They were the pride of her life. She was also famous for making tortillas for everyone.
Irma is survived by her sons John Wagnon and Jaxon Wilhelm; daughter Chelsi Bauer and her husband Chad; sisters Diana Flores, Gloria Covarrubias, Debbie Longoria and her husband Larry. Her three amazing grandchildren Liam, Ellie and Peyton will miss their MawMaw terribly. She also leaves behind her beloved dog, Woofie.

We've lost an incredible mother and friend, but her kindness and loving spirit will remain a beacon in our hearts forever.
