James Earl Wooley

James Earl Wooley, born on December 6, 1951 in Brownfield, Texas, passed away on May 31, 2023. He was the son of J.C. Wooley and Dora Mae Wooley.

James' family will be receiving condolences on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Brownfield Funeral Home from 5 pm to 7 pm. The graveside service will take place at 10 am on Monday, June 5, 2023 at Sundown Cemetery in Sundown.

James had a varied career which included work in the oil field and farming among many others. He was a man who took pride in his work and was always willing to lend a helping hand where needed. James' biggest passions were motorcycles and spending time with his grandchildren. Whenever he wasn't working or maintaining his beloved bikes, he could be found simply enjoying the company of his family.

James was preceded in death by his father, J.C. Wooley; mother, Dora Mae Wooley; sister, Linda Sue Albert, brother, Michael Glen Wooley; and daughter Jami Donnell Wooley.

James is survived by his son, Jay Reece Wooley and wife Stephanie; daughter, Tammi Marinelarena and husband Tommy Randell; granddaughter, Jami Rowland and husband Xavier; grandson, Reece Carter Wooley; great-grandsons, Xavier Rowland and Jared Rowland; sister, Freda Wooley; ex-wife, Lori Rohmer and many nieces and nephews, along with other family members who loved him dearly.
