Jennifer “DeeDee” Perez was born on June 13, 1980 to Catarino Rico and Raquel Najera Perez in Brownfield, TX.  She grew up in Snyder and graduated from Snyder High School in 1998.  In 2003, DeeDee moved to Meadow and in 2004, began working at the Meadow Farmer’s Co-op Gin.  She excelled in her work and became the Office Manager in 2007.  DeeDee loved people and actively served her community in many ways.  She supported Meadow Students and served as President of the Ag Booster Club and participated in the PTO, even after her daughter, Reagan, graduated.  DeeDee helped oversee the program for the annual Memorial Day Service and was very involved in assisting the Meadow community in many capacities.  She was also known for helping anyone with computer projects or gathering needed information.  She was always willing to lend a helping hand and serve wherever needed.  DeeDee was a beloved part of the Meadow community and will be deeply missed!

DeeDee loved God with all her heart and was very dedicated to her church, Meadow First Baptist.  She experienced tremendous spiritual growth over the last several years, inspired greatly by her daughter’s involvement with missions trips and outreach.  She was active in Wednesday night Bible Study and enjoyed discussing what she was learning with others.  DeeDee did an amazing job loving her family and being there for them.  She was intensely proud of her daughter, Reagan and all her accomplishments and cherished her relationship with her niece, Kennedy.

DeeDee was preceded in death by her father, Catarino Rico Perez.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Reagan Perez; her mother, Raquel Najera Perez; her sister, Missy Reynero and husband, Henry; and her niece, Kennedy Reynero; and numerous extended family.  She is also survived by her beloved furr babies, Benji Reese, TeddyJax “Bubbie,” Charlie Rae “Boy,” Koda “KoKo.”
