Jerry Neil Metcalf

Funeral Services for Jerry Metcalf, 70, of Brownfield will be held at 10 am on Friday, September 9, 2022 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Seaton officiating.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Jerry was born on July 18, 1952 in Brownfield to S.A. and Kittie Metcalf. He married Debbie Howell on May 1, 1970 in Brownfield. They were married for 52 wonderful years. He adored his wife, sons and grandchildren and loved spending time with them. Jerry coached soccer for his sons until they were in high school. He assisted Debbie in creating a ladies soccer team and coached them for many years. He also enjoyed classic cars and hunting. Jerry worked in the oil field industry for 45 years. He worked as a superintendent for Wellman Unit. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, S.A. and Kittie Metcalf and a brother, Billy Metcalf.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Debbie Metcalf; sons, Toby Metcalf and wife Dawn and Cody Metcalf and girlfriend Liz Terry; grandsons, Colby Metcalf and Dillon Thomas and wife Nicole; 2 great-grandchildren; and brothers, Wayne Metcalf and wife Cindi of Calera, Oklahoma, Dale Metcalf of San Clemente, California, Larry Metcalf and wife Judy of Justin and Gary Metcalf and wife Barbara of Lubbock.
