Jerry Joseph Reno, 80, of Lubbock, was born on April 18, 1944, to Traceford and Rose Reno in Manistique, Michigan. He passed on September 27, 2024. 

Jerry was a devoted handyman and owner of Reno Enterprises, known for his exceptional skills in both interior and exterior painting. Jerry took great pride in his work and his craftsmanship and left a lasting impression on many homes. Having graduated from college with a Bachelor's Degree, Jerry's education laid a foundation that he built upon throughout his life. His commitment to learning and self-improvement was evident in his meticulous approach to his craft. 

Beyond his professional achievements, Jerry enjoyed a rich personal life filled with passions and hobbies. He had a special fondness for ducks, which brought a touch of warmth and joy to his days. Additionally, Jerry found great pleasure in making wine, a hobby that not only allowed him to express his creativity but also to share enjoyable moments with friends and loved ones. 

Jerry will be remembered not only for his talent and dedication but also for his gentle spirit and the happiness he brought into the lives of those around him. His legacy as a skilled handyman and a kind-hearted individual will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him. 

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Traceford and Rose Reno. He is survived by his son, Steven Reno; 2 granddaughters, Aubree and Taylor; great-granddaughter, Brooklyn; great-grandson, Luke; sister, Pat; and brother, Tracy Reno.
