Jesse Dick Johnson, Jr.

Services for Jesse "Dick" Johnson, Jr, 85, of Brownfield will be at 2pm, Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Brownfield Church of Christ with Bob Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Jesse will be in state Tuesday, Nov. 16th at the funeral home.

Jesse passed away Monday, November 15, 2010 in Brownfield. He was born September 10, 1925 in Denison to Jesse and Sara Brown Johnson. He and his family moved to Brownfield in 1936. He attended Brownfield Schools. Jesse married Florence Lanell Clark on March 9, 1946 in Brownfield. She preceded him in death on October 15, 2003. He was a foreman for Ozark-Mahoning from 1964 until retiring in 1987. Jesse enjoyed many years of fishing at their summer home on Lake Stamford. He was a member of Brownfield Church of Christ. Jesse is also preceded in death by 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

Jesse is survived by his son, Jerry Johnson and wife Jodi of Brownfield; 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
