Jimmie Earl Berryhill

Services for Jimmie Earl Berryhill, 76, of Brownfield will be at 2:00 pm, Monday at Brownfield Church of Christ with Bob Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

The family will receive friend from 6-7pm Sunday at the funeral home.

Jimmie was born February 7, 1933 at Lakeview, Texas to A. C. and Nera Berryhill. He attended Gomez and Wellman Schools. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Jimmie married Esta Fae Beavers on March 17, 1955. They lived and farmed in the Wellman Community until moving to Brownfield in 2003. Jimmie served on the Wellman School Board, Wellman Co-Op Gin Board, PCCA Board, Terry County FHA Board, ASCS County Committee and the cemetery and parks board. He served as county commissioner for Precinct 4 from 1987-1995. The Berryhill's were selected as "Outstanding Farm Family of Terry County" in 1980. Additionally, Jimmie led singing at the Wellman Church of Christ from 1973 to 1993. He was currently a member of Brownfield Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and John.

Jimmie is survived by a daughter, Natalie Beth Bryant and husband Steve of Lubbock; a son James Alan Berryhill and wife Pam of Brownfield; 5 grandchildren, Amber Berryhill of Abilene, Chelsy Yeager and husband Caleb of Lubbock, Tagen Berryhill of Lubbock, Shane Bryant of San Angelo and Faryn Bryant of Lubbock; one great grandson, Braylin Yeager of Lubbock; a sister, Nera May Daniel of Brownfield; a brother, Ernest Berryhill of Lubbock.
