Services for Joseph Moreno, 75, of Brownfield will be at 10:00 am, Friday, June 19, 2009 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Father Gerald Leatham officiating. Burial will be in Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Joe passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2009 in Brownfield. Joe was born October 30, 1933 in Gonzalez, Texas to Jacinto and Sabrita Moreno. He attended school in Gonzales. He married Carolina Rivera November 5, 1958 in Brownfield. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Society and St. Anthony's Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Sara Louise Moreno in 2004.
Joe is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carolyn; a daughter, Gloria Gonzalez and her husband Thomas of Brownfield; 3 grandchildren, Sara, A. J. and Anthony; a brother, Max Moreno and his wife Vicky of Tokio; a sister, Janie Gonzalez and husband Frank Garcia of Gonzalez.
