Services for Juanita Garcia Gonzales, 83, will be held at 10 AM, Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at St. Anthonys Catholic Church with Father Eduardo Teo officiating.
There will be a family visitation held from 6-7 PM, Tuesday, May 8, 2018 with a Rosary following in the Brownfield Funeral Home Chapel.
Juanita Garcia Gonzales passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018. Juanita was born in Yorktown on December 1, 1934 to Jose and Caterina Garcia. She married Umberto Gonzales Sr. October 25, 1952 in Brownfield. Juanita was a humble woman who treated everyone like family. She always welcomed everyone and loved cooking for them. Juanita is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Caterina Garcia, husband, Umberto Gonzales Sr., son, Umberto Gonzales Jr., son-in-law Paul Vasquez Jr.
Juanita is survived by 3 daughters; Emma Hernandez and husband Freddy, Erma Martinez and husband Jimmy, Debra Vasquez, grandchildren; Katie Gonzales and partner Sara Guinn, Rebecca Vallabhn, Carlos Vasquez, Simon Hernandez, Gregory Hernandez, Fernando Hernandez, Raul Martinez, Liz Martinez, and Jenni Martinez and numerous great grandkids, nieces, and nephews.
