Graveside Service for Judy Faye Bolen, age 77, of Brownfield, will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Terry County Memorial Cemetery.
Judy passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at her daughter's residence in Avery. She was born on March 31, 1947, in Roswell, New Mexico, to Charlie Dibrell and Erma Lee Bartlett Green. Judy spent the majority of her life in Brownfield, where she touched the hearts of many with her warmth and laughter.
In 1966, Judy married her beloved husband, Johnnie Bolen, who became her partner in love and life until his passing in 2010. Judy was a talented seamstress and enjoyed crocheting, finding joy in creating beautiful garments and heartfelt gifts for her friends and family.
Preceding her in death are her parents; her husband, Johnnie Bolen; her brother, Carl Douglas Green; and 2 sisters, Shirley Green and Charlotte Ashburn.
Survivors include her 2 daughters, Chellye Drummond and husband, David of Ely, Navada and Christye Bolen of Avery; her son, Chance Bolen of Brownfield; 3 grandchildren, Douglas Bolen and wife, Alexandra of Lubbock, Dawn Bolen and Kurt Garner of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Shawn Lamon of Avery; her great-grandchild, Olive Bolen of Lubbock; and her nephews, Cody Green and Chuck Green of California and Dale Green of Florida.
