Kiersen Hope Smith

Funeral Service for Kiersen Hope Smith, 13, of Brownfield, will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at Calvary Baptist Church, with Rev. Steve Carter officiating.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Monday, July 1, 2024, at Brownfield Funeral Home. 

With heavy hearts and cherished memories, we announce the passing of our precious Kiersen Hope Smith. Born on October 25, 2010, in Levelland, TX, Kiersen brought joy and light into the lives she touched during her brief time with us. Her smile could brighten even the darkest days, and her spirit will forever be remembered.

Kiersen was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, and aunt. She also shared a special bond with her furry companion, Bullet, her beloved dog. Her vivacious spirit and undeniable zest for life touched all those around her. From her love of all things pink to her passion for cheerleading and taking photos, Kiersen's vibrant personality shone brightly in everything she did.

Kiersen was a beautiful young woman that enjoyed shopping, putting on makeup, and having stylish nails, but her beauty went beyond her physical appearance. She had a kind and generous heart that was always looking out for others. She was a part of the youth ministry at Calvary Baptist Church and she loved worshiping during "big church" by holding her dad's hand and dancing. Kiersen loved God and her family is comforted by the fact that this is not "Goodbye," merely, "See you later."

Left to cherish Kiersen's memory are her parents, Chad Wesley and Teresa Smith; brother and sister-in-law, Christopher and Jaxy Rodgers and their daughter, Hazel; sister, Kaylee Smith; grandparents, Larry and Lyna Burns, and David and Quita Smith; along with numerous extended family and friends.

Kiersen's laughter and love will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
