Leldon Woody Wood

Funeral services for Leldon “Woody” N. Wood, 79, of Brownfield will be at 10am, Friday, February 25, 2011 at Brownfield Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Seaton officiating. Burial will be in Terry County Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Woody was born June 30, 1931 in Lamesa, Texas to James B. Wood and Martha Littrell Wood. He graduated from Lamesa High School. He was a U. S. Air Force Veteran. He married Nora Wilson who preceded him in death in 1987. Woody then married Barbara Ann Pomfret in Brownfield. He and his wife have lived in Brownfield since 1996. He was a member of Sandyland Antique Tracktor Pullers Association. He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Donald and E.H. Wood.

Woody is survived by his wife, Barbara Wood of Brownfield; a daughter, Nancy J. Main of Spokane, WA.; 2 brothers, Horace Wood and Mac Wood both of Seminole; 2 grand daughters, Alisa and Sheila Harper of Las Vegas, NV.; special loving friends, Patsy and Curtis Campbell.
