Librado DeHoyos Saenz

Librado (Lee) De Hoyos Saenz of Brownfield, Texas passed away on Friday, July 11,2014 at the age of 85. He lived in Brownfield for 42 years and worked at BE Implements for 24 years before leaving in 1995.

He was born to the late Pilar and Cresencia Saenz on August 26, 1928, in Floresville, Texas. He lived in Poth, Texas until 1952 when he married Olivia Blanco Carranza and moved to the West Texas area and later to Brownfield in 1970. He raised nine children all whom live in Texas.
He is remembered by his children and grandchildren as a good person who was sensitive, slow to anger, willing to give, creative in his conversations, a good storyteller and one who had a great sense of humor. May the good Lord give our dad/grandpa a piece of heaven he so graciously worked for here on earth.
Librado is survived by his wife Olivia and 8 children, twelve grandchildren and twenty six great-grandchilden.

A viewing will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday at Brownfield Funeral Home located at 120 W.Tate. The funeral service is scheduled for Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Church followed by the burial at Terry County Memorial Cemetery.
