Linda Joanne Brinson

Funeral Service for Linda Joanne Brinson will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at Brownfield Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, January 10, 2025, at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Linda was born on October 25, 1939, in Amarillo, Texas, to Russell and Tena (Curtis) Hendricks. She passed away on January 4, 2025, at the age of 85.

Linda graduated from Meadow High School in 1958, a milestone that marked the beginning of her journey into a life of service. That same year, she married her beloved husband, Theo Brinson, and together, they built a life full of love and laughter until his passing in 1997. As a registered nurse for nearly two decades, Linda found joy in helping others, her compassionate spirit touching the lives of countless patients and their families. Her nurturing nature extended beyond her professional life; she was a friend to many and always had a listening ear.

Linda embraced life with enthusiasm, finding joy in music and the peaceful rhythms of farm life. She took pleasure in connecting with family and friends through social media, bridging distances and nurturing bonds with her warm-hearted updates and shared moments.

Linda is preceded in death by her husband, Theo Brinson; parents, Russell and Tena Hendricks and sister, Lisa Blankenship. She is survived by her children, Lanny Brinson and his wife Amy, Lance Brinson and his wife Beth, and Lane Brinson; siblings, Beverly Garrison and her husband Tim, Reagan Hendricks, and Tony Hendricks; nieces; nephews; 8 grandchildren, Rhett Richardson, Ryan Richardson, Tyler Brinson, Zach Brinson, Connor Brinson, Allison Robinson, Nickolas Brinson, and Erin Brinson; numerous great-grandchildren; and close friend, Ronnie Bell.
