Linda was born on August 6, 1962, to Santiago and Guadalupe De Los Santos in Post, TX. She passed away on March 13, 2025, at the age of 62.
Linda was united in marriage to Thomas S. Olvera on July 7, 1980, forging a partnership filled with love and laughter until his untimely passing in 1996. Together, they built a family that Linda cherished just as fiercely as she pursued her passions.
A proud graduate of Texas Tech University in 2004, Linda devoted herself to education for 20 years as an ESL Coordinator at Plains Independent School District. Her commitment to her students was unwavering, and her zest for teaching inspired many to reach their full potential.
Linda was a woman who celebrated life in all its forms, relishing the joys of watching her grandchildren play sports and witnessing the growth of her great-grandson. Family gatherings, especially during the holidays, were marked by laughter, love, and spirited games of Loteria, which brought out her playful side and created cherished memories.
We will remember Linda’s quick wit, generosity of spirit, and the profound love she had for her family and friends. Her absence will be deeply felt, yet her legacy will continue to shine brightly through the lives she touched.
