Memorial Service for Lisa Reyes will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Primera Baptist Church. Personal care is under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
Lisa was born on January 16, 1966, in Brownfield to Antonio and Alicia Reyes. She passed away on May 12, 2024, at the age of 58. Lisa was a graduate of Brownfield High School, Class of 1984, where she reigned as Homecoming Queen and brought joy as Mr. Cub mascot.
A true sports enthusiast, Lisa's passion for teams like the New Orleans Saints, Dallas Stars, Texas Rangers, and Texas Tech was unmatched. She lived life to the fullest, always the life of the party and making connections with everyone she met. Lisa had a soft spot for dogs and cherished her furry companions, Tigger and Napoleon. She leaves behind cherished memories with her sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
Lisa is preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Alicia Reyes; brother, Tony “Hacala" Reyes, Jr.; and maternal and paternal grandparents.
Lisa is survived by her 2 sisters, Betty Reyes of Lubbock and Irma Gonzales and husband Joe of Brownfield; nieces and nephews, Melissa and Raegan Bergara, Benny and Willow Burse and family, Andy Reyes, Leigh Ann, Bill, and Kaleb Castro, Danielle Gonzales and kids, Lauralee Reyes and boyfriend David Tovar, and Jaden Reyes.
