Service for Louise Tuggle, 84, of Plains will be at 2 p.m., Monday, October 19, 2015 at Plains First Baptist Church with Rev. Patrick Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow in Plains Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
There will be a family visitation Sunday, October 18, 2015 at the Brownfield Funeral Home from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Louise passed from Earth to Heaven Friday, October 16, 2015 in Lubbock. She was born March 2, 1931 to Theodore Armstrong and Fannie (Waldroup) Armstrong at Henrietta, Clay County, Texas. Louise married Dorris Ray Tuggle on November 6, 1948 in Haskell. She was a homemaker and a bookkeeper for auto dealerships. She was a very active 4-H adult leader. Louise was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a past Worthy Matron. She was a member of the Plains First Baptist Church. Her greatest passion was making quilts for her family members and making handmade crafts with love in every stitch.
Louise is preceded in death by her husband, Dorris Ray, a grandson, Shane Tuggle, great granddaughter, Randi Jo Albert; 4 sisters, Helen, Maxine, Doris Kay, and Debbie.
Louise is survived by 3 sons, Danny Tuggle and wife, Tink, Odell Tuggle and wife, Susie, and Randy Tuggle and wife, Edith; grandchildren, Steve Tuggle, David Tuggle, Tammie Warren and Staci Albert; 9 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Peggy, Sue and Mickey; 2 brothers, Z.T. and James.
