Maria Pauda

Funeral services for Maria Salas Pauda will be held 10 am Monday, December 12, 2016 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church with Father Eduardo Teo officiating. Burial will follow at the Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

There will be a Rosary held at 6pm Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Brownfield Funeral Home.

Maria passed away on Friday, December 9, 2016 in Brownfield. She was born July 11, 1930 in Detroit, MI to Luis Salas and Georgia Salinas Salas. Maria married Ernesto Pauda Sr. on March 11, 1946 in Brownfield. She owned a restaurant for fifteen years and then was a homemaker. Maria was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Ernesto Pauda Sr., parents, Luis and Georgia Salas, 2 grandchildren, Justin and Joshua Pauda, and 2 great grandchildren Liam Jesse Jones and Tristen Garcia.

Maria is survived by 9 children, Mary Armenta and husband, Roberto, of Brownfield, Jesse Pauda and wife, Charlotte, of Brownfield, Linda Sigala and husband Eligio of Brownfield, Virginia Pauda of Brownfield, Ernesto Pauda Jr. and wife, Yolanda, of Brownfield, Danny Pauda and wife, Virginia, of Wichita, Ks, Juan Ramon Pauda of Brownfield, Ruben Pauda of Cedar Park, Betty Sue Elmore and husband, Chris, of Brownfield, 31 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, 3 brothers, and 5 sisters.
