Graveside services for Marina Lissette Mendez, a newborn, will be held at 10am, Monday, February 3, 2014 at Brownfield Cemetery with Father Gerald Leatham officiating. Services will be under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.

Marina was born on January 29, 2014 to Fernando and Amy Mendez in Brownfield. She earned her wings on January 29, 2014. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Angelita Alaniz and Pedro Mendez, Sr.

Marina is survived by her parents, Fernando and Amy Mendez of Brownfield; 3 sisters, Tabitha Mendez, Heaven Mendez and Aniyah Mendez of Brownfield; a brother, Fernando Mendez, Jr.; grandparents, Edward Alaniz and Maria Mendez Ramirez and husband Pedro; great grandmother, Lala Rojas; many aunts and uncles.
