Services for Mario Galvan, 56, of Odessa will be held on Thursday, March 15, 2012 at 10am in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Brownfield. Burial will follow in the Brownfield Cemetery under the direction of Brownfield Funeral Home.
There will be a family visitation from 6-8pm on Wednesday, March 14, 2012.
Mario passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2012 in Odessa. He was born on April 9, 1955 in Brownfield to Santos and Antonia Galvan. He graduated from Brownfield High School. Mario was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Johnny and Richard Galvan, and a sister, Julia Ruiz.
Mario is survived by 2 sons, Benjamin Galvan of Odessa, Sergio Galvan of Odessa; a daughter Gabriella Galvan of Odessa 4 sisters, Olivia Ruiz of Brownfield, Delia Lopez of Hobbs, NM, Angelina Ruiz of Brownfield, Linda Salazar of Brownfield; 3 Brothers, Antonio Galvan of Odessa, Santos Galvan Jr. of Lubbock, and Jerry Galvan of Odessa.
