Martha Cantu

Funeral service will be held at 2 pm Thursday, November 12, 2020, at Brownfield Funeral Home with Rev. Santos Gamez officiating. There will be a viewing on Tuesday, November 10, 2020, from 2 pm to 8 pm and on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, from 9 am to 8 pm at Brownfield Funeral Home. 

Martha Cantu was born July 11, 1969, to Robert and Yolanda Cantu in Brownfield, TX, and gained her angel wings Sunday, November 8, 2020. Martha had two kids, Ashley who was born in 1990, and Jesse born in 1991. Martha met her love of her life Senovia Gonzales in 1996.

Marth Graduated from Brownfield High School in 1988. Then went to SPC and graduated with her CMA but also had her CNA. She was a CNA for 28 years and a CMA for 11 years. Her passion was working with the elderly and caring for them. Whenever Martha had free time she loved taking quick trips to Hobbs to the casino to gamble. She also loved watching the Dallas Cowboys. She loved spending quality time with her grandkids and family. Martha is proceeded in death by her father Robert Cantu and her grandparents.  

Martha is survived by her lifelong partner Senovia Gonzales; mother, Yolanda Longoria; and five children, Ashley and partner Josh Garcia, Jesse and partner Kandy Valles, Brianna, Gabrielle and Brittney Cruz; 6 siblings and 5 grandchildren.
